After watching the film, I think that most of the characters fit their role especially John Proctor and all of the judges and reverends. I thought it was done very well on the movie and it was accurate. The part in the movie I thought was a little exagerated was the pretending of the girls and their sudden pains of others witchcraft. I really liked John Proctor as character who seems like a real man, who steps up to tell the truth to the court to help out his wife and his friends. This film was done very well.

I personally enjoyed the movie more than i did the play because of many reasons. When i was reading along with this plays, i couldn't see in my head what was actually going on. However when i watched the play i could see the actual layout. When i saw the first parts of the movie i somehow could relate to the visuals i had in my head. Yes, i enjoyed the movie more than the play for the simple reason that i could understand what was going on better.

How does the film version of The Crucible compare to the play? Are there actors you think are good for their roles? Are there any you would change? Are there parts of the play you like/dislike more than you thought you would after reading the play?

Talk about the film and what you think of it.

The Adventure's of Tom Sawyer test was overall easy. The vocab was a piece of cake and the essay and short answer's were not too bad. The one part I didn't do so well at was the location part. The test was long and the added essay over the weekend dragged it out. However the grade I got back was good because if I got a question wrong, then it would'nt be so much taken off, due to the vast amount of questions. If you could do something to change it for next time I would have less short answer qustions.

The narrative about the slave Olaudah was a difficult story to discuss because it portrayed a lot of bad qualities of the white man and showed all the bad things they did to black slaves. With all the crowded people in the boat and lack of space and unsanitary diseases going around made me think about how tough it would be in that position. For our culture to talk about this is embarrising because these things we made the blacks endure is so bad and mean.

Thus far I think that the Crucible story is kind of weird and crazy. The part when Abigail drinks the blood and Betty tries to fly out of the window are both nonsense. The setting in the story seems to be taken at a town that is close to peoples houses, like John Proctor's. Also, I feel that it is wrong for Tituba being the blame just because she is black.

The evidence that was most suprisingly easy to see as a judge that they misses was when the girls repeated what Mary Warren said. The judges I thought could of easily of seen that it were pretense and they didn't. It really is quite easy to mock someone after they speak. The judges could have seen that it was another tactic for them getting out of trouble and lying.
