After reading the story, Where is Here, i am still left clueless about the stranger. What do you think may have happened to him in the past? Explain?

I think is the past his family died in the house. I think after that he left the house. he came back to see how the house was like and who was living in it. Then their is a strange ghost feeling in this story. Were their ghost in the house from the death of the man's family.

I, personally, believe that the stranger suffered a somewhat abusive and neglectful childhood. I feel that he was often ignored and left to fend for himself, both physically and emotionally. I got this sense from hidden clues that I noticed throughout the story. Although I could be completely wrong, I couldn't help but to feel this way about the mysterious stranger.

I think the stranger must have been a victim to some sort of domestic violence in his early childhood because when he said that the window seat was his favorite spot in the house that might have been his escape to his problems.

In Where is Here, the stranger is a very mysterious person. He barely gives any insight to past except for some memories in different areas in the house. He hints that his parents had a bad relationship and also says at first that he has been dead. So i think he is a ghost who had a bad childhood and his unrested spirit came back from the dead to visit it.

I think the stranger had a very harsh childhood. Possibly having no one to turn too or ask for help with anything.

I believe the stranger from "where is here", had a very rough past and it had something to do with his parents. I still think he was a ghost who came back to his house where he was possibly murdered? I think his parents put too much pressure on him and his Dad was a strict drunk who miht have flipped out one day.

I think the family might be buried in the house which may have caused the sudden deterioration. The stranger may have killed his family because of the fighting implied by him.

I think he had good memories in that house, but lost all of his family do to some tragic accident. The house must be all he had left of his past life. I think he craves his old life as a child in that house. I say that because he sat in the bay window like a kid holding his legs looking outside the window.

I think he spent alot of his time outdoors. This is why he wanted to look in the backyard or in the garage. He had to be invited into his old house and I think he liked the outdoors.

that he may have been a messed up child possibly beaten or something really bad had happened in his family where everything just fell apart. I also think his presence actually spread to the family in a very bad way.

I think in the past he had a family who fought a lot and he came to visit the house to see what type of family was living here and if they had the same issues that his family had. After he left, I think that the family started to relive the strangers lifesyle.

I think the stranger at the front door died in the past in that house that he ame to visit. I think he haunts that house forever, until the couple in the house now move out. The stranger is a ghost, or an angel.

I think that the stranger had a very boring and lonely childhood. I think that he was not a very playful kid because of the way he curled up in the window seal. When he did this it made me think that he would sit there and watch the other kids play and have fun while he was bored in the house. I think the stranger brought back a lot of good and bad memories when he went back to the house. I also think the stranger was about to die, and made a promise to himself that he would go back to his old house before he died.

I doubt that anything horrible or tragic happened to this "ghost" or his family. My reason for this conclusion is because of how friendly and warm he was towards the new family. He had an eerie, but innocent vibe to him. I think if some type of terrible tragedy or violence was inflicted on his family, he would have been completely opposite from how I just described him.

I think that the stranger had suffered from some horrible accident and that his family had died. Now hes come back to see who lives in his old house. I think the family would take after how the old family did long ago.
