After reading Where is Here, just like Sean, I was disappointed. What do you think would have been a better ending for the story?

I think the couple should have let him see the basement. After all, it was his old house and the old man just wanted to recount all the memories he had in it. Having him see the basement and then letting be on his way would be a better ending

I too was confused with the ending of the story. In the late middle of the story, the mysterious man hinted that he could be a ghost. I wish that the ending capitalized on the fact that he was indeed a ghost to make the story spooky in a way and more interesting.

I think there could have been numerous endings that could have been seen as "better". Personally, i think if the couple would have let the stranger go into the basement it would have allowed for a more detailed ending. Also since this man has been in pretty much every room of the house, the basement should not have been left out. Maybe the basement could have brought back memories also? This could have given more of an explanation of who this guy actually was.

I thought the story was very interesting and mysterious, but was a little creepy because of all the different emotions that the stranger was showing. But the ending I thought could have been a little better because he could have done so many different things. Such as try to break back in after getting kicked out of the house or he could of went down to the basement and stayed there. But all we know from this book is the stranger had some kind of rough childhood.

I was a little disappointed with the ending of this book, but it was a dark romantic, so sometimes they do leave you with that suspenseful thought at the end. I think that a better ending to the story would be with the old man being able to see the basement, or even stay in the house longer. He might have been satisfied by this and the family could then enjoy their dinner. This doesn’t really fit in with the story though because it is a dark romantic, and the people in the house were already a little creeped out by this guy.

I thought that Wher is Here was a lame story. There was no excitement in the story. In the end, you still had no clue who the stranger was. A better ending would be the stranger finally explaining himself making the owners of the house realizing that he is a ghost.

I was very dissapointed with the ending of the story. The reason being is that I didnt get what what happening in the end. Was the guy a ghost or what I have no idea.

I think that “where is Hear” had one of the worst endings possible for a story. If I had wrote the book I would have ended the story a lot different. I would have had the stranger breaking down crying, and running into the basement. The couple would call the police and when they arrived to take the man he would be gone.

I wish they would have finished the story, I think the whole point of the story though was for people to use there imagination and think of there own ending.

I was somewhat disappointed after reading the ending of the story, also. I believe that the ending would have been much better if it was more intense and scary. A better ending would have been if the man refused to leave the house and threatened to kill anyone who tried to stop him. The wife would then end up being the heroine of the story and save the day. This ending would have made the story more entertaining for me and, most likely, everybody else.

A better ending to "Where is Here" would have been if the stranger had killed everyone in the house. The stranger would have been revenging his previous life as a child because he probaly witnessed death in that house.

i think if there was some sort of suspence in the story it would have ben alot better. For example if the stranger was trying to doo something weird to the family like in a horror movie, or if there was something hidden in the house that the people never knew about

A better ending to this story would have been if the man suddenly appeared in their house later that night. then i would have known for shore if he was a ghost or not.

At the end of the story "Where is here", I thought they should of had the stranger go down and check the basement, and then have him disappear. Then the mom and dad will look for him and find a ghost like figure and run away and sell there house.

I think a better ending would have been that the couple would have realized what this strange man had done to their relationship and been able to get over him and get back to living their life like they were. I also think they should have allowed him to go down to the basement.
