After reading where is hear I got a sense of disappointment from the story. While nothing out of the ordinary happens until the end of the story. Did you while reading get the most suspense while waiting for something to happen that never does?

I personally got a little suspenseful while reading the story, with the hopes of something happening. Even though not much did, I still enjoyed the story.

After reading the story about 4 times it got a little suspenseful but when nothing really did happen at the end it was kind of a disappointment. If the story fell through with its suspense I think the story would have been much better.

When reading the title of this story, i didn't think it was going to turn out the way it did. As i began reading throughout the story, i started to get a little excited about and uncertain ending. The story its self was an ok read. However, waiting on an ending you have your mind set, and then getting surprised, come to find out your predicted ending isn't what happens i think we can conclude, this story has a deeper meaning.

Yes, I was frustrated because nothing was happening. The story was very suspenseful but nothing crazy happened. I guess this is how the story is supposed to be by leaving us with wanting more of the story.

I was disappointed because it wasn't clear on what had just happened, or what was happening to them at the end. It would have been better if the story continued on for a while to see what other odd things were going to happen to the family.

I was also dissapointed. I think it would have been better if the story went on and showed that the family in the house turned into the stranger's family.

I thought the story was interesting. I always was thinking what the man might from his past which made it suspenseful. The ending was disappointing because you just see the old man walk away and not see the rest of his old home.

While reading the story i felt suspense because you did not know what was going to happen at all. The story itself is random, and with all the suspense made it a good story. Towards the end was when I felt the most suspense.

I felt like i wasted my time reading that because nothing happened at all at the end. What a dumb story.

Yes i feel as though the story dragged on and on causing you to feel a somewhat intense feeling of suspense, but never really deliver it. Although, the story did have an eerie theme to it.

Although I enjoyed reading the unique story, I did find myself a little disappointed after finishing reading it. The story was filled with suspense, and I felt as if it was leading up to a more entertaining and intense ending. However, the ending turned out to be more dull than I was expecting, and this led to my disappointment. Regardless of the ending not living up to my expectations, however, I still enjoyed the story.

I got the most supense at the end when the Father went to throw the man out of his house. I thought the man was going to snap and just murder the whole family.

I didn’t get any suspense thought the story. The ending was good, but keeping the reader interested is the biggest part about being a good writer. The first couple minutes can let you be confused or lost, but this story does it 24/7 which is what made it a boring story to read.

I think the story was very anticlimactic. Throughout the whole story there were foreshadows of a physical dispute, whether it be the stranger killing the whole family, or the dad fighting with the stranger. At the end of the story all that happens is the stranger asks to sit in the basement and is turned down. The stranger begins to cry, but I thought something much more serious than this would happen. The author does this purposely though for a number of reasons. I think one reason she does this is because the stranger killing the whole family is way too predictable. Another reason she may have done this is because leaving a lot of questions unanswered leaves the answers up to the reader’s imagination, which can occasionally be a better answer than the author could think of.

The suspence was killing me thoughtout the whole book. I was thinking "whens something going to happen?" Nothing really did untill the end. I was hoping that mabey that guy was a killer and was going to kill the entire family and leave no remains or evidence. That would have made it a better story to read.

After reading the story I realized the author tryed to drag you in with a chain of events that would lead into a suspenceful ending. Now if had been a good ending i would have enjoyed it a little more.

Yes when i was reading i was waiting for something to happen that never did. But i think thats why it is a dark romantic poem because it makes you paint the picture in your own mind.

I felt myself wanting to skip to the end and find out what and who is this stranger. It was very suspenseful toward the end because I was waiting for him to dissapear into thin air or just snap and try to kill someone. It was very frustrating to find out that nuthing happens and he just leaves.

I did get a suspense because I thought something ironic was going to happen. I thought the stranger was like a spy for a gang or something like that and they were going to rob the house but once we started to read it i realized this was not the case. I thought how at first how he did not want to go inside that he was planning to do something horrible.
