The tests for american literature aren't usuaully tough, but time consuming. I think the toughest parts of the tests in lit are the short answers. Short answers are what you must leave time for, there normally three- four sentences long, but there is like seven short answers. I guess i can say yes the tests may be challenging, but not "hard". I dont think there is a better way to prepare for the short answers, just for the simple fact that there not short, there rather longer.

I think the short answers are the hardest because I have such a hard time writing them. I don't have good enough examples to write about. I like multiple choice and matching the best.

I definitely agree that the tests are simply time consuming but not necessarily "hard." However, I also believe that if you come prepared to take the test, there IS enough time to finish it successfully within the time given. I understand that some people work faster than others, but I still strongly believe that enough time is given in class to take the test.

I don't see the tests as hard at all. I agree with the statement about it being time cinsuming because to tell the truth it is. Sometimes it seems like I rush through the beginning just to make sure that I have time to finish all the short answers and to answer them thoroughly. I think that the only real way to study for them is to pay attention in class to when Mr.Dutrow goes over the main ideas, he basically gives you the answers as long as you pay attention to him while he discusses the readings in class.

I highly agree I think that if you just make time for the short answers or maybe even start on them first the test would go by a lot quicker getting everything done in a good amount of time. Also yes they are time consuming but it should be easy if you know what your writing about. A good bit a studying would help with this problem in the long run.

I agree, the Short Answers are pretty tough, You have to know exactly were you are talking about. It has ti be 3 to four sentences usually. You also have to check your grammar/ spelling and punctuation. But i also think finding the who wrote what in the tests are the hardest
