The Test

What did you think of the last test we took? (Did you think this was too long, short, hard, easy, etc.) What do you think was the hardest question on the test?

i think it was ok. I felt good about it and it showed on my grade. I think it wasn't too easy yet, wasn't too hard either. Just right. But again, way too long. There is a lot of writing involved and my hands hurt from it. Nonetheless, it was a good test.

I thought the test was okay. There were a few challenging things, such as the vocabulary section. If you payed attention in class, and read accordingly, you should have done fine.

I thought that the test was easy as long as you studied. Mr Dutrow was right, if you spent like ten minutes on the vocab and the authors then you would get a good grade on the other part. I also liked the short answer and how they were graded.

I thought the test was hard. Manly because I had trouble on the vocab and essays. The essays were the hardest part on the test. The hardest question was when you aksed about Theodora on the short answer, I didn't know who she was or even if we talked about her in class. The easiest question was the last essay about realism, I knew exactly what to say there.

I really thought i could do better on the test but i thought i could just go and take it without studying and i think my grade showed i really could have done better but overall i thought it showed resemblance to other tests weve taken.

The test wasn’t that hard especially since I actually studied the authors of the book the only thing that I really wish I did is that I could have remembered to check my spelling and grammar on the short answers.

i thought test was pretty easy. i had looked over the study guide which made the test very easy. there was really only one thing i didnt know which was the epitaph. i just had no clue what that was.

I did better on the test than I thought I was going too. If you looked over what we were suppose to know it wasn't too bad. I should have studied a couple of the characters more though.

The test was not that hard but long. I couldn't finish two of my short answers in time which made my grade go down, even though I got a B on it. I think we should have less short answers to do since we had to match-up vocab and authors and explain the people in each story.

I thought the test was fairyly easy. Everything was easy except for a couple of the short answers. The test was kind of very long, and it had a lot of writing that you had to do. I got a B on it, could have done better if I would have wrote moe on the short answers.

My grade didnt show it but i think that test was a little bitt easier andi just had so much going on that i couldnt study as much as i needed. think it related to the other test that we have taken. i wish the teachers would know when the other classes are giving us test so they know when we can take theres to do better on them

I think the last test we took was not hard on information, but just long. With there being so many short answer questions it took me extra time to finish. I think the hardest question on the test was the one about the epitaph because I completely forgot what one was.

Ithink that the Tests are bascicly the same. Long. If you truly reviewed the stories, you should have had no problem, but i didn't as well as I could because of the other 4 tests I had that same day. Otherwise it was just long.

I thought was okay. I thought it was a little bit longer than usual, but we also needed that because we didn’t count the last one we took. I thought it was a little hard though; it could have just been me though. I thought that the hardest question on the test for me was who was Theodora, I think it was just me because I completely forgot who she was.

I believe that the test was at about the same difficulty level as all the others. Once again, I strongly believe that, if you simply studied and prepared yourself for the test, you should have done fine. I am confident that I did a fairly good job, and I was very happy that I prepared myself.

I think that the test was okay, there were many things that I didn’t understand most likely because I did not study as much as I should, yet there were some parts of the test that I found out to be relatively easy most likely from the review that we had the day before the test.

Straight up i think it was easy. Mr. Dutrow tells us all of the answers in class, so if you pay attention you'll have all of the answers. Minus the vocabulary, that I needed a bit of studing for.

I thought the last test was alittle difficult just because it was long. I do not do good on long tests at all becasue i tend to get distracted and get off topic. There was alot of writing that was the main thing that i thought was hard. But most of the questions were relatively easy. But I failed so Im just gonna ahead and say it was hard on my part.

This test was an easy a. We talked about all the topics in class so much that all you had to do was study the vocab and you were good. I had a very easy time on it.

i actually did better on that test than on the past test. i actually studied for this test and got an eighty-two. All you really have to do is take time out three days before the test and study for thirty minutes. The hard part i think of the test is reading the directions. Due to the fact that on most my test in my other classes you dont have to write in complete sentences i didnt pay attention and i wrote in incomplete sentence. That aspect really hurt my grade.

I thought this test was a longer test but it was fairly easy so I blew through it. I had the toughest time with the vocab since I did not do it. However, I had time to study right before and I got a good grade on it.

I really don't have a basis for answering this question because I triple digited the test(107) and everyone knows that I'm going to say it was easy but that test had one or two curve balls thrown in and I was lucky enough to remember the answers to the questions.

I thought this test was very easy. I pulled of the third highest test grade in my class which I was so happy about. I pulled off a 98 on the first part. This showed me that if I just put forth the smallest amount of effort that I could do so well on every test. When I was taking it I was so nervous because it was a lot of information that we had to remember and when we got the tests back, I was so happy that I did so well. All the questions on the test were hard except for the vocabulary and authors. The only reason I say this is because the stories were long and there was a lot of things to remember about them. Like Anthony Viennas said, if you paid attention in class then you should have done well on the test. Such as when we have a reading assignment, you should take notes when we are reviewing the material and that will help out a lot. I look forward to more tests like this because I have a feeling I will do really good on them.

The last test was not that difficult or long, I just did not study enough, nor did I reaad half the poems. I was very dissapointed in my performance, and I should have know that I was going to do bad. I think the fact that I was overloaded on assignments that week had a lot to do with the outcome of my test but that is no excuse and I should have prepared better for it. The questions all seemed pretty simple if you read all the stories, the only reason they would have been hard is if you didn't read most of the stories and poems.

The last test we had to me was extremely easy, and all the information on the test was given to us in class. This was a very easy test overall. The hardest part to me was the vocab.

I think the last test we took was hard. There was a lot of writing which makes it worse. I did not remember all of the characters from the story. Also , I never do well the vocab because there are to many words to study for.

Like every other test there were its difficult parts. But for the most part, I thought that I did very well on the test because the short anwser, vocabulary, and author matching are like iving away free points. I didnt even have to study that long in order to get a good grade on this test. Comeon Mr. Dutrow you gotta make it a little challenging.

KarlGreen said...

I thought i wasn't that hard of a test I thought that if you just timed out how long you should spend on a problem and knowing the material that you would do fine. Even though there was a lot of writing that should be no excuse for someone to say it was hard unless they are illiterate.

I thought for me the test was drastically harder than others. I did the worst of this English test than I did all year. The easiest part for me was the vocab, vocab seems to always be the easiest for me. The hardest part was knowing the authors. I think I only got 2 or 3 right of those. I have a hard time remembering authors. I also couldn't get the last word on the description for each word used in the poetry part. That was hard. I am glad we have the essays to help boost our grade though.

I thought this test wasn't as long as other test, probably because we didn't have to do as much short answers. Instead we had to do a take home essay which made the test a little more comfortable. The grade I received was very good and I liked the test.
