Wrapping it all up

As the year is ending and kids in Mr. Dutrow's English classes cram in all of their late work, blogs, extra credit, and The Term Paper. What have you seen as the most helpful assignments that allowed you to boost or keep the grade you wanted? And how much work are you cramming into tonight so that you can turn it in tomorrow?

The most helpful assignments would be all of the responses we had to do. I think with all of these chapter responses, students could achieve a high grade in the class. I am not cramming anywork and I'm glad that I dont have to. Anyone who is cramming the late work tonight are the ones I feel sorry for.

The response are definitely the most helpful because it forces us to actually read the chapter so we can know something about the story that we are reading. It definitely helped prepare us for test or quizes. The only problem is if I miss and assignment I do tend to cram.

I think the most helpful assignments that helped me pass he class and keep my grade the same through the year was the responses because I did so well on them and plus the vocabulary was good too.

I think the responses helped boost and keep my grade because it is easy points. Even though they get annoying after awhile they still can boost up your grade a lot.

I think the blogs were most helpful actually. They no only made you think they boosts your grade up 100 points. i remember 2nd quarter the blogs brought me from a C to a B.

Doing a response every night really helped my grade. It was an easy 100, and getting extra credit in was a really easy way to boost my grade. This quarter I did all of my assignments so I am not suffering, and cramming work.

I think the responses and blogs were the easy giveaways along with the vocabularies. I am just cramming the rest of the blogs and two written assignments.

The assignments which were most helpful towards my grade were probably the homework assignment, and quizzes. It was nice that we had so many homeworks because they could make up for some bad test scores. Tonight I am finishing all of my blogs and completing my research paper

The most helpful assignments would be the responses and the vocab. There were so many responses which meant that they were many points to get from doing them. Since the vocab is usually worth more points, they also help.

Surprisingly im turning in twelve late assignments. But i thank Mr. Dutrow for letting us turn in the work that we didnt do. That is one of the positives i've found in the class. The most helpful thing to boost your grade i think is the blogging. You can get up to one hundred points for sharing your thought. I think thats legit.

While I do think that the responses were pointless they did help me out. I'm not saying they helped me academically, because they didn't really teach me anything, but they did help boost my grade at times. I saw it as if i just kept up on my responses, it was practically free points. An answer to the other question, the only thing I’m cramming in tonight is what you are reading right now, the blogs. Most of the other work I kept up on pretty well.

The responses certainly did my grade some good and, also it did it some bad as well. I am cramming in about 13 assignments.

The most helpful assignment would be the responses because you basically have to put your opinion down about what you thought about the chapter and you got a 100%. But since I slat off this 4th quarter about homework it had help my grade but just keep it around a B.

I think that the blog really helps you get those points that you need at the end of the quarter. i am cramming a couple of responses that I missed.

The most helpful assignments for me would have to be the vocab. I am cramming because i missed a few days of school and got so far behind in all my classes that i never made up all of Senor Dutrow's work. Oops

The Gatsby assignments were the most helpful because I had decided to read the chapters over again as well as see the summaries. It was a chance for me to put my grade up where it needed to be.

I think it has to be the vocabulary. they are real big grade boosters and also the project we had to do. One of the ones i disliked were all the responses we were given to do.

The writting responses are definetly the grade booster in his class. It always keeps your grade as high as possible. And plus the blogs. A couple of minutes out of your day and at the end of it all you get a cool 100 points .
